Our hidden resources: the reuse of used water and sewage sludge – constraints and opportunities
The climate is changing in ways that are unfavorable for us and from a hydrological perspective, while at the same time we often overuse declining water resources. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the application of wastewater and polluted waters (stormwater, urban runoff) as a potential resource.

The focus of the professional presentations is on the latest, innovative technologies in wastewater and sewage sludge treatment: nutrient and energy recovery aligned with the circular economy, as well as the possibilities for reusing treated wastewater to alleviate water stress.

The aim of the Conference is to create a bridge between university research bases and industry players, promoting knowledge transfer and practical cooperation.
The event provides a platform for presenting the latest research results and implementing market-ready, sustainable solutions.
